My first degree was in the Arts, and I am currently working on a science degree. This has given me first hand experience in understanding how difficult math and science can be for a student with a more artistic learning style. I struggled all through high school to get good enough grades so I could go to post secondary for science, and I didn't make it. After graduating with my arts degree, I decided to give it another shot. I took high school Math and science and found that, when studying and working in a different way, I could understand the course work and succeeded in qualifying for a Geology Honours program here in Thunder Bay. My other hobbies in life include Music, visual arts, and reading.
